grew up in New Jersey, Iowa, upstate New York and New Hampshire. Phil worked at Tenney Farm and Brookford Farm in NH, as well as in his father's famous vegetable gardens as a kid. Phil studied Economics at UNH and later moved to Washington DC where he worked in education research. He drove across the country 4 times, visiting 2 schools in each state (except Alaska) and wrote a book about the journey called The Neighbors Kid.  New Hampshire called to Phil, so he moved back to the Live Free or Die state and pursued construction work and eventually got back into farming. Phil's family lives close by and we are lucky to have them pitching in at the farm on a regular basis.



Dani moved north from the suburbs of Philadelphia to help out at Brandmoore Farm. Enjoying helping with the animals and drinking in the farm life.  Dani works in the garden and has a big role in dairy operations. Dani loves watermelon!


grew up in Portsmouth, Rhode Island and later attended University of New Hampshire, landing her on the Seacoast . After studying Environmental Horticulture at UNH, she worked in Massachusetts and New Hampshire at various farms where she continued to learn about organic and sustainable farming practices. Rebecca is married to Phil Brand, they have a little boy named Thomas. They live in Rollinsford with their dog, Ernie and cat, Mimi. Besides farming, Becky enjoys swimming in the ocean, spending time with family, knitting, playing music with friends, eating delicious food, traveling, holidays, visiting Rhode Island and cooking and has started making cheese on the farm.



Beth is the harvest manager in the vegetable field and has recently begun milking cows regularly over the winter. She works year round at the farm and her passion for farming is inspiring!
